Rwanda is among African countries with higher unemployment rate, which is not surprising as landlocked country with no meaningful natural resources.
Many youth live under unemployment, according to the latest figures of National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda, unemployment rate of 2020 stands at 22.1%, augmented due to Covid19 pandemic, as it was 13.3 early before this plague.
Wise Way Rwanda has noticed these challenges among Rwandan as well as African youth and come up with a sustainable solution, whereby, annually they help African graduates, mainly Rwandese to get scholarship in different European countries, as well as Asia, since its establishment in 2018.
According to this Company official, many secondary graduates are unaware of academic opportunities that are available abroad. “ There are so many Schools and Universities in Europe like Canada and United Kingdom, seeking students enrollment across the World including Rwanda, but many Rwandan youth are uninformed about that, we have established Wise Way Rwanda to explore this opportunity” Said IRABARUTA Victoire, Managing Director of Wise Way Rwanda.
She called upon secondary and university graduates with high and moderate performance to change their mindset of focusing only on local opportunities, and open their mind to international prospects, above all academic opening.
“ Every year, we support over hundred students to obtain abroad scholarships, Rwandan fresh graduates should know that Wise Way Rwanda is here for them, we have so many students who are perusing their studies abroad, thanks to Wise Way Rwanda, and the chances are higher that, after graduating they will get jobs in those countries, or they will come with efficient acquired knowledge and skills to contribute in Rwandan development” She added.
Not only does Wise Way Rwanda help students to get scholarship, it also eases the way of flight ticketing for Rwandan people or foreigners living in Rwanda.
IRABARUTA said that, Wise Way Rwanda works with highly regarded European Universities, which are financially accessible and provide so many opportunities to its students.
